In our previous guide, How to Create a Ministry in Minutes, we introduced the three different roles in TWELVE: Admin, Leaders, and Students. This guide focuses on how Admins moderate and manage their ministry.
Moderating Your Chats
Admins have the highest level of permissions, including the ability to review all conversations happening within their ministry.
To open the Moderator Chat list, tap the Shield Icon in the top right corner of the Chats page.
The Moderator Chat list shows all messages sent within the ministry, including one-on-one conversations and group chats you are not a part of.
Message of Concern Moderation
Messages that may be concerning or need attention, such as alluding to self-harm, bullying, or harassment, are highlighted in red for admins and even get their own special notification. This adds an extra layer of moderation to help keep conversations safe.
Managing your Ministry
To access Administration Settings, tap your Avatar, then select Administration to open the side menu.
Ministry Settings
This section allows you to edit ministry details such as the name, location, website URL, and organization type. You can also set the times when chat is open or closed during the day.
Manage Groups
Here you can view and manage all group chats. When you select a group, you can update the group name, adjust the parent group, toggle chat on or off, view members, or delete the group.
Member List
This section shows every user in the ministry, making it easy to manage everyone in one place. By selecting a user, you can edit their role or send them a message directly.
Users Awaiting Approval
When someone joins your ministry using a QR code or email invite code, they will appear in this list. Admins will be notified and can approve or decline the user.
Invite Person to TWELVE
Admins can invite others to the ministry by sharing a QR code or sending an email invite code.

To everyone in this community that uses TWELVE, prays for this ministry, or gives generously - thank you.
